Dash and Daniels Heated $5 Million Dollar Exchange It takes money to make money, but Damon Dash is accusing “Empire” creator Lee Daniels of taking his money-end of story. The Roc-A-Fella Records mogul claims he loaned Daniels $2 million towards a biopic on Richard Pryor supposedly starring Oprah Winfrey and Eddie Murphy. The project never quite took off as Daniels focused much of his creative talents on his hit TV show “Empire”. Dash claims Daniels is a fraud who breached their contractual agreement. Dash not only filed the lawsuit, but is appealing this case to the court of public opinion and posted video of him confronting Daniels about his money earlier this month.

The Braxton Family Values Money Toni, Tamar, Towanda, Traci, Trina and even Momma Evelyn are taking a hike until the WE network coughs up more cash for their reality show. According to TMZ, “Braxton Family Values” is on an indefinite break after the sisters and their mother made a family decision — no taping until they’re paid what they’re worth.” The news site says the Braxtons were scheduled to begin shooting the remainder of their sixth season last week in Atlanta, but only one Braxton(Traci) actually showed up. WE had no choice but to pull the plug on the taping. TMZ says, “the cast feels their wardrobe and travel stipends are so low it’s laughable. They also want their salaries increased to an “appropriate” level.” How much the Braxtons currently make and how much more they are demanding isn’t clear, but one thing is clear-they’re reportedly under contract to star in the show for a total of 9 seasons. Not sure if that gives them much leverage in negotiating a higher salary.
