“Hollywood Execs Groped My Privates”: Terry Crews Says He Was Sexually Assaulted in Front of His Wife

Terry Crews is as buff as they come.  He’s 240 pounds of all muscle–no fat. His physique is part of the reason why he often lands roles as athletes or the tough guy in movies and TV shows.  But even a big strapping guy like Crews says he felt powerless when he was sexually assaulted by Hollywood execs.

The 50 year old actor says feels like he’s been suffering from PTSD in the last couple of days as more and more details come out about the scandal involving the Hollywood producer who assaulted and reportedly raped women who were trying to get acting jobs.

The “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Expendables” star has been sharing his sorrow and his shame on social media.  On Twitter, Crews wrote…

Crews says like many of the women who are victimized sexually, he felt trapped, powerless.  He says part of him wanted to hit the person, but he knew it meant never working again and maybe jail.

Crews continued saying,  “I understand and empathize with those who remained silent. But Harvey Weinstein is not the only perpetrator.”  Crews says one of the men who groped him called the next day and apologized without explaining anything.

You have to applaud Crews for speaking up.  Even though he didn’t name names, the threat of reprisal against him is still real. The executives could still see to it that he doesn’t work again by blackballing him or just steering casting directors and other producers away from him.

But Crews did the right thing and his story may give someone else the courage to speak up.  The only way to get rid of rats who think that men, women and children  who want to work as actors are their own personal sex slaves to prey upon is to drive them out of the dark by shedding light on who they are and what they are doing.
