Back in the Game   After months of being sidelined for his political protest against police brutality and racial inequality, it looks like Colin Kaepernick may be ready to get back in the game.  Rollingout is reporting that Kaep ” could possibly be signed by an NFL team this week. According to Kapernick’s attorney, Mark Geragos, the quarterback could get his shot to play again.”   Kaep’s decision to kneel during the national anthem has caught the attention of the world and caused further division where he was hoping to bring unity.  When the president declared athletes who didn’t stand for the anthem should be fired, Kaepernick’s protest became a movement that motivated other teams, coaches, owners and even other leagues like the NBA to join him in kneeling. After the glare of the national spotlight subsided, Kaep, still without a contract, sued the NFL for colluding to blackball him.  No word on what team may sign the former SF 49ers quarterback or if he will continue his protest once under a new contract.

Omarion’s Audience is “M.I.A”   What’s worse than throwing a party and having no one show up? How about performing a concert to a nearly empty audience.  Singer Omarion found himself in that latter predicament while performing in Namibia.  According to BET, “It looks like Omarion got a taste of his own medicine. After the singer pulled out of his appearance at a press conference in Namibia at the last moment, his fans decided to hit back by boycotting his concert that was held in addition to the event.”  BET says the Grammy nominated singer arrived at the concert venue to find “a practically empty venue with around 20 people in attendance.”  The singer lived up to the Broadway adage ‘the show must go on’ and performed his full concert.  BET says the singer even had a good sense of humor about it all adding, “Omarion captured the concert in a video on social media, showing a little more people. In the video, fans were seen screaming as they crowded around the stage. “As long as you had a good time,” he captioned the video.

For this week’s look at celebrity life, that’s a wrap!
