Kimberly Elise Says Blacks Shouldn’t Think About Race In Hollywood

In this video, actress Kimberly Elise talks about her new movie Apple Pie Mortgage and how race shouldn’t matter in Hollywood. Elise plays Angela Logan, who with the coaxing of her family and friends, bakes her famous cakes from scratch and sells them to the community for $40 each in hopes she’ll be able to dig herself out of a $4,000 bill during a fairly tight time frame.

The movie showed on the UP channel last month. She also discusses her opinions on what role race should play in the entertainment business and discussed her wishes for the Light Skin vs Dark Skin discussion to end.
