TuPac’s “Dear John” Letter to Mega Star Up For Auction A break up is a hard thing to deal with. Unfortunately, the “Material Girl” will have to relive the heartbreak of TuPac ending their love affair. People Magazine says, “In 2015, Madonna made headlines when she admitted she had dated rapper Tupac Shakur years before his death. Now, an uncovered letter from the late star to the pop icon reveals that race was a big factor in their breakup.” TMZ published a portion of the intimate letter which reads, “For you to be seen with a black man wouldn’t in any way jeorpardize your career…But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my “image” I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was.” TuPac continued saying “I never meant to hurt you.”
Madonna tried to block the letter from being auctioned off by filing a lawsuit, but the judge threw the case out. You can read the full letter at TMZ.
