“No No No ” Destiny’s Child Reunion: Weekend Rewind

by Ms. Black Hollywood

Shopping, clubbing, chillin’ or just sleeping in—the weekend can slip past faster than we expect.  We can’t help you with those hard to find gifts on your Christmas shopping list, but we can rewind the headlines to some of the stories you may have missed over the weekend.

Destined for a Reunion?  It would have been the perfect Christmas present for fans of the trio (or quartet depending on where you choose on the group’s timeline) if the rumored reunion had proven true.   But it was apparently too good to be true  and the surprises Beyoncé is planning for Coachella 2018 will no doubt be amazing, but a Destiny’s Child reunion won’t be one of those surprises.  As rumors tend to pop up unexpectedly, this one sprang up as a cryptic tweet last week…

And that’s all it took to spark a rumor that soon sprouted wings and flew throughout Twitterdom. Though the rumor is logging some serious frequent flyer miles, according to BET “it’s worth noting that the potential of the original members reuniting isn’t exactly based on any concrete evidence…TMZ says, “Sources directly connected to Beyoncé tell us she is NOT planning to bring Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett up on stage with her next year in the desert. The Beyhive’s been getting fans worked up, claiming there are clues all over social media.”  But TMZ goes on to say “the clues” fans are quoting seems to be a figment of their imaginations saying, “We’re told Bey’s dedicated fans are simply seeing what they want to see — but the fact is there is NO DC reunion in the works for Coachella.”  But TMZ doesn’t know the Beyhive, there’s no room for reason. A few quotes from sources is hardly enough to douse the flames of this DC4 wildfire rumor.

TRN will keep an eye on this one for you and bring every juicy morsel.

What’s Bugging Terry Crews   Several weekend stories report the 49 year old actor believes somebody’s watching him and his family.  Crews posted on twitter this weekend-” I believe my family is being tracked and possibly bugged“.  Crews joined the #metoo crackdown on sexual harassment when he went public with his story.  Crews filed a lawsuit against WME agent Adam Venit who the”Everybody Hates Chris” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actor identified as the man that groped his genitals while his wife was standing next to him at a party they attended last year. The  NY Daily News says in an article that Crews says police warned him of possible retaliation from “the Hollywood big shots” that he was calling out.  The article continues with Crews saying “Someone hacked into the computer my son and I built together. I have to shut it down and replace the hard drive. The actor added that if he were to have a “timely accident” — “you know where to look.”
