Run Stacey Run…Or Maybe Not  She’s tried acting, being a political pundit and now “Clueless” star Stacey Dash is perhaps ready to merge the two careers and act like a politician.  Dash claims “A number of people online and off have suggested I run for political office. I wanted to see what my online community thinks of this idea as I mull the possibilities. Thoughts?”  Ask and you shall definitely receive on  Twitter…

Not all the comments were so brutally negative.  A few people supported her and one person using the handle “LasVegas” wrote, “I think anyone who doesn’t vote for you is „clueless“ 🙂 you will be great! Good luck!”  A few even said they were ready to volunteer as campaign workers. The conservative Dash has often clashed with the Black community so it’s doubtful if she can drum up many votes there.  The 51 year old hasn’t said if the online responses help her make up her mind yet on whether to actually run for congress.
The Juice’s Movie Deal Reignites Anger   After nine years in prison, numerous trials including one for murder, former NFL, TV and movie star OJ Simpson may be ready to get back into the movie business.  According to FOX News, “Sacha Baron Cohen has sparked outrage after a new report claimed he paid O.J. Simpson more than $20,000 for an appearance in his upcoming movie.” Cohen is an English comedian/actor  criticized for racist commentary given through his controversial fictional characters like Ali G and Borat for his parody films and mockumentaries.   Dailymail is reporting that the two did take a meeting and that “OJ would not even get in the hotel room until he was paid a sackload of cash. There was no way Sacha could have got OJ into the room without paying money.”
Any money from movies that Simpson makes wouldn’t be his for long.  Simpson was tried in the 1995 murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.   He was acquitted, but two years later found liable for their deaths in a civil case and ordered to pay the families $33 million. That amount has more than doubled to $70 million after a renewed judgement in 2015 according to CNN.  Any money Simpson earns would go straight to the families and talk of a possible movie deal has angered the Brown and Goldman families.  Dailymail says Brown’s sister Tanya responded, “Nicole and Ron are two human beings who were brutally murdered. This is not a joke nor is it entertainment. If Sacha makes this a comedic effort his victims will be personified as a joke. Shame on him.”

For this week’s look at celebrity life…that’s a wrap.
