downloadPrince “R U Listening?”  A new documentary is said to be in the works on the life and career of singer, composer and musician Prince.  The documentary will take us back to the beginning of the singer’s career as remembered by those who knew him best—family and friends. The film will feature interviews and commentary from artists like bass player Andre Cymone who worked along side Prince.  We’ll also hear from other greats like Sheila E., Lenny Kravitz and Mick Jagger who will share their memories of Prince. The man who introduced the world to the Minneapolis sound was a force that changed the music industry and his death is still mourned by many worldwide.  Prince was found April 21st of this year in an elevator in his Paisley Park home.  Initially a 9-1-1 caller said the singer was unresponsive, but quickly changed his statement to say Prince was dead.  Prince is said to have died from an accidental overdose of opiates used to treat hip problems.  The singer had endured the changing music scene to remain a top performer thru the years.  His flamboyant, eclectic and playful stage presence always left fans wanting more.  Prince sold over 100 million records worldwide, was a seven time Grammy Award winner and even won an Academy Award for his film “Purple Rain”.  The documentary on the singer’s life is slated to be released sometime in 2017.

T-Boz premieres in her first soap role on November 30 and will be appearing in episodes through January.
