No matter what is said about tennis champion Serena Williams, she continues to prove that her beauty is undeniable.
Before she goes off to compete in the US Open in a couple of weeks, the 21-time grand slam winning athlete flaunts her curves on the latest cover of New York Magazine. She is seen showing off her flexibility while doing the splits.
Magazines from all over cannot stop raving over the chocolate goddess. Out of the countless compliments and reviews, here are 6 of the best reactions to Serena’s cover thus far:
These reactions are completely different from a little over a month ago, when her looks were being compared to that of a man’s. The only thing more impressive than Serena’s back-hand was the back-hand served up by fan and author JK Rowling (Harry Potter series) who had the perfect response when a troll tweeted that Serena looks like a man in a dress.
In fact, Ben Rothenberg from the New York Times wrote a controversial article titled, “Tennis’ Top Women Balance Body Image with Ambition,” to discredit Serena’s success due to her “large biceps,” and “mold-breaking muscular frame.”
But who are these people to talk about Serena’s figure, when they can turn around and say that Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner is a beautiful woman?
What are your thoughts on Serena’s New York cover?
