Ms. Black Hollywood,
With the handle @TheOJSimpson32, O.J. made a big splash as he joined Twitter. The former NFL star turned felon posted a video announcing he was on Twitter and hinting that it’s his time to get “even“…

With a smile and hearty, “God Bless” the Juice was loose on Twitter. And so was the outrage…
I know OJ Simpson is a killer but seeing him speak makes me understand he’s also an unrepentant asshole, too. #OJSimpson

I don’t give a hoot what oj “the killer” has to say or what he thinks, unless he’s gonna confess.

A sociopathic butcher, beater, and killer has a “little” getting even to do. Very telling….

On Twitter, there are always two sides to every post. While many were outraged that the man accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman had the freedom to speak, laugh and live others believe he has that right. There were plenty of O.J. supporters speaking up to remind them that Simpson was acquitted of murder charges.
The #MainStreamMedia used the tragedies of June 12, 1994 to cause disunity amongst Americans. #OJSimpson is one of the best examples of how the mainstream media can make someone famous then destroy him.

Some seem to think it’s all just a publicity stunt as Simpson tries to linger in the limelight. Well, the stunt seems to be working. Simpson at last check already has 32 thousand followers and just under 50 likes. His video post declaring he has “a little getting even to do” topped two million views in eight hours and a Father’s Day video reached over six million views.
Others convinced that he really did kill his ex-wife and Goldman want to snatch anything that resembles a voice, joy or a life from him. A protest erupted hours after OJ joined twitter trying to force him off the platform.
Writer Yashar Ali started a campaign to get more followers for Ron Goldman’s sister Kim as a way to combat Simpson.
I see that the unrepentant murderer just joined Twitter.
Can everyone do me a big favor?
Please follow Ron Goldman’s sister, @KimEGoldman
She should have more followers than that monster.

Celebrity once painted Simpson as a handsome, rich athlete blessed with a beautiful wife and children. After Nicole’s murder, he was painted as a monster who beat Nicole and controlled the lives of his family.
The case brought out the worst of Simpson’s so-called life, but also the worst of America. For many, race was a deciding factor as the personification of that centuries-old fear of a Black man brutalizing a White woman.
Still, others cited the lack of any other suspects as the reason for their belief of guilt despite facts proving L.A. investigators bungled the case from the beginning by rushing to judgment that it had to be O.J.
There are plenty of Blacks who believed O.J. was the murderer as well. But Simpson was given due process and acquitted so the question becomes does society still have the right to condemn him all these decades later? Sure he does seem to be a jerk, but that alone isn’t a reason to petition Twitter to keep him off the platform because if it is, then a whole lot of people need to get the Twitter boot.
Twitter is big enough that you can live in the Twitterverse and never cross paths with those you find undesirable. Simply don’t follow them. Or you can go on Twitter and post about how you plan to leave Twitter because Twitter is allowing too many ‘monsters’, liars, racists, misogynists, liberals, conservatives and crazy people on the platform. But then, who would you follow?
