Baby fever is on the rise in Hollywood. Several of our favorite celebrities are growing up, getting married, and starting families. Here are some of the reel pregnancies in Hollywood.
The first star sure gave the world plenty ‘motivation’ to fall in love with her again. Kelly Rowland (33) announced on June 10 via Instagram that she is expecting her first child. The former member of R&B girl group Destiny’s Child married her boyfriend and manger Tim Witherspoon at a small ceremony in Costa Rica. Rowland just exposed the world to her bare baby bump only days ago on June 19 also via Instagram as she meditated during yoga.
Now all the real Kelly Rowland fans should know that one of her most recent jobs was as a host on Simon Cowell’s UK version of American Idol, X Factor. This next pregnant start was first runner-up back in the 2010 season of the singing competition. British singer Rebecca Ferguson wowed America and the UK on the show and now she’s warming our hearts with her first pregnancy with her current boyfriend of over a year, as she announced via Twitter on April 13. Ferguson already has 2 sons from a previous relationship.
Time waits for no man, and apparently neither does some of the newly born celebrity babies. Actress Kerry Washington; veteran rapper Lil Kim; actress Thandie Newton; and Naiyana Garth, girlfriend of Pacific Rim (2013) actor Idris Elba, all welcomed beautiful bundles of joy into their families in the last few months.
Washington (37), known as the “fixer” in the hit ABC series Scandal, was able to hide her pregnancy from the rest of the world for four months. She had her baby girl on April 21 with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha.
The 39-year old rapper Lil Kim, known for her past relationship with late rapper Notorious B.I.G. and hits like Lighters Up, welcomed her baby girl Royal Reign on June 9. The sophisticated Brit Thandie Newton (41) welcomed her son on March 3, making her a blissful mother of three. Idris Elba’s (41) longtime girlfriend, Naiyana Garth, gave birth to their son Winston on April 17.
